Friends,
I’m proud to share why I’m supporting Josh Fryday to be California’s next Lieutenant Governor and why you should too at the CADem Convention in San Francisco this weekend.
As Mayor of Anaheim, I’ve seen firsthand how much local leadership matters, and how important it is to have state leaders who truly understand the challenges our cities face. Josh brings a rare combination of public service experience, integrity, and a results-driven mindset that California needs right now. He has a proven record of bringing people together to solve problems, whether it’s expanding opportunity for young people, supporting working families, or strengthening communities through service.
Josh’s leadership in building the nation’s first statewide Climate Corps shows exactly the kind of forward-thinking, action-oriented approach we need more of in state government. He doesn’t just talk about big ideas — he builds programs that create jobs, protect our environment, and make a real difference in people’s lives. Just as importantly, he listens to local leaders and works in partnership with cities to get things done.
At a time when Californians are looking for leaders they can trust to focus on practical solutions and long-term progress, Josh stands out. His commitment to service, as a veteran and as a public servant, reflects the values that make our state strong.
I hope you’ll join me in supporting Josh Fryday for Lieutenant Governor.
Warmly,
Ashleigh Aitken
Mayor, City of Anaheim
